the tension will be 10 N. .. . . Action and reaction Are equal and opposite.take a string hold into your vertically tension will be 0. Beacuse theres no reaction to make the string tight. Now suspend a string froma stand tie 10kg force on its lower.. Now tell what will be tension. Yes ur right 10 N. stand is apPlying 10 N force to hold the weight. now your own inspection

Why does the thermal conductivity of a substance change by change in LENGTH?
Does it not have a fixed value for e.g thermal conductivity of air is ALWAYS 0.026?
