TOEFL Exam Dates for Pakistan for year 2011

The TOEFL test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 7,500 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries. Wherever you want to study, the TOEFL test can help you get there.
The TOEFL iBT™ test, administered in an internet-based format, is an important part of your journey to study in an English-speaking country. In addition to the test, the ETS TOEFL Program provides tools and guides to help you prepare for the test and improve your English-language skills.
The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.

There are two formats for the TOEFL test. The format you take depends on the location of your test center. Most test takers take the Internet-based Test (iBT). Test centers that do not have Internet access offer the Paper-based Test (PBT).

In Pakistan only the Internet-based Test(iBT) is offered

IELTS Test Dates of the Year 2011 for Pakistan

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System which tests English proficiency across the globe. IELTS tests are held in over 500 centres with tests up to four times a month.IELTS tests all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. The Speaking test is a face-to-face interview with a certified Examiner.IELTS is available in two test formats:

Academic

General Training.

All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking modules but different Reading and Writing modules.

Academic – Institutions of Higher and Further Education
The Academic format is, broadly speaking, for those who want to study or train in an English-speaking university or Institutions of Higher and Further Education. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on the results of the Academic test.

General Training – for school, work or migration
The General Training format focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts. It is typically for those who are going to English-speaking countries to do secondary education, work experience or training programs. People migrating to Australia, Canada and New Zealand must sit the General Training test.

BZU Datesheet for B.A/B.Sc exams 2011

BZU announced the schedule for the annual examinations of B.A and B.Sc of year 2011. The exams will continued through out the month of April and some dates of May. The exams starts from 9th April 2011 and ends on 5th of May 2011

PEC 8th Class Result 2011

(PEC) Punjab Examination Commission is an autonomous body set up by the Government of the Punjab to administer assessment-only examinations for grade 5 and grade 8. Recently Punjab Examination Commission has taken exams in the month of February . These assessments enable students to score better in their promotion examinations conducted by their own schools and respective boards of studies.

The exams result of class 5th and 8th of the year 2011 will be declared on 31 march 2011 and the result can be viewed directly from the official website of the PEC.
