These merit list are for the admissions in BSc Engineering programs of UET (University of Engineering and Technology). All the information of the mentioned merit lists will be updated here. Students can check the merit lists of the following campuses

First Merit list 2012 of all the above campuses was announced. All candidates who have been selected are reminded to deposit their dues and required documents by Saturday 13th October 2012. Failure to do so would result in cancellation of their names from the list of candidates who would be considered in the next merit lists. Candidates whose names are not included in the first merit list would automatically be considered for the second merit list.

The procedure of the department allocation is as follows:
First of all your first preference will be consider for example if someone from the first merit list of Computer Science do not submit fee and do not reserve his/her seats, then this seat will be given to person who have maximum aggregate and also given priority to Computer Science in his/her preferences. If you are the one with the maximum aggregate then you will be allocated in Computer Science. Moreover for example if your aggregate is enough to get admission in Mechanical and Computer Science both then you will be entertained in the Computer Science not in Mechanical because you have given priority to Computer Science.
Then as per same procedure if your aggregate is not enough for Computer Science then your 2nd Preference will be checked and so on.
Yes you have fair chances in Punjab University, but do remember that PU is basically known for Chemical Engineering.
