GAT Subject Test Schedule 2011.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has assigned National Testing Service (NTS) the responsibility to conduct GRE Type Test i.e. Graduate Assessment Test GAT-SUBJECT for Ph.D Programs.
Subject Test helps to evaluate, analyze, solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material in a specific area of study.

* The test result will remain valid for “TWO YEAR” for admissions and HEC Scholarship Schemes.

Candidates with a minimum of eighteen years of education are eligible to appear in the test.

  • Candidate intending to improve their previous GAT Score can also apply.
  • The candidates will have to qualify other specified criteria of the Universities / HEC Schemes.

NAT Test Dates 2011

NTS(National Testing Service) announced the schedule for the NAT tests for the year 2011.NAT(National Aptitude test) is for admissions in the universities associated with NTS . The students can apply in these universities by submitting the Copy of NTS Result card. The NAT Result is valid for only one year.

TOEFL Exam Dates for Pakistan for year 2011

The TOEFL test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 7,500 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries. Wherever you want to study, the TOEFL test can help you get there.
The TOEFL iBT™ test, administered in an internet-based format, is an important part of your journey to study in an English-speaking country. In addition to the test, the ETS TOEFL Program provides tools and guides to help you prepare for the test and improve your English-language skills.
The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.

There are two formats for the TOEFL test. The format you take depends on the location of your test center. Most test takers take the Internet-based Test (iBT). Test centers that do not have Internet access offer the Paper-based Test (PBT).

In Pakistan only the Internet-based Test(iBT) is offered

IELTS Test Dates of the Year 2011 for Pakistan

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System which tests English proficiency across the globe. IELTS tests are held in over 500 centres with tests up to four times a month.IELTS tests all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. The Speaking test is a face-to-face interview with a certified Examiner.IELTS is available in two test formats:

 

  • Academic
  • General Training.

All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking modules but different Reading and Writing modules.

Academic – Institutions of Higher and Further Education
The Academic format is, broadly speaking, for those who want to study or train in an English-speaking university or Institutions of Higher and Further Education. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on the results of the Academic test.

General Training – for school, work or migration
The General Training format focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts. It is typically for those who are going to English-speaking countries to do secondary education, work experience or training programs. People migrating to Australia, Canada and New Zealand must sit the General Training test.

Bihar police result 2010

Bihar police result 2010, Today the big result announced regarding Bihar police result 2010 and Policing in Bihar is more than 3000 years old. In fact, there are documented historical references to policing practices adopted by the Magadh Empire.

Policing in the Modern era in Bihar began in the year 1862 with the introduction of the Indian Police Act of 1861. Following the creation of the province of Bihar in 1912, the basic structure of police as it exists today in the whole of India was laid. There have been several officers of the Bihar province in pre-independence India who have made pioneering contributions to policing in India.

To name a few; Mr. Walter Swain of Swain Beat system fame, Shri AK Sinha, the first Indian to become an IGP of any province, Shri BN Mullick, the founder of the Intelligence Bureau and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Khan Bahadur Azizul Haque, credited with the primary development of the fingerprint classification system, the famous ‘1024 pigeon holes’ cabinet system eventually named after his supervisor, Sir Edward Richard Henry leaps readily to the mind.
