UET Peshawar Merit List 2012, 1st, 2nd & Final Merit Lists

Prior to the 1st open merit list, Candidate data for open merit will be displayed on 13th August 2012. Students are advised to check their details in the candidate date, if they find any error in the data they should report to UET Peshawar before the display of 1st open merit list. 2nd Merit list of UET Peshawar will be displayed on 4th September 2012, while 3rd or Final Merit list of UET Peshawar will be uploaded on 7th September 2012. Last date for receipt of claims for correction of data entry errors is 14.08.12 upto 4.00 p.m. (PST). No request will be entertained after the due date.

Reserved Seats

2% of the total seats are reserved for disabled students.
2% of the total seats are reserved on sports basis. District and Board level players can apply against these seats.
15 seats are reserved for foreign students. They may apply to the Ministry of Education Islamabad through their Embassy.
20 Seats are reserved for Fata, Azad Jammu Kashmir and other Provinces.
10% additional seats are reserved for O-Level students. Their admission will be processed after declaration of result subject to provision of Result Statement & Equivalence Certificate.
The students must attach two attested photocopies of Matric Result Card, Character/Provisional Certificates, Identity Card of Father/Mother/Guardian and Monthly Income Certificate of Father/Mother/Guardian, N.O.C for the students of other Board except Lahore Board.

Financial Assistance & Scholarship

The talented students from low-income groups may apply separately for Financial Assistance on the prescribed form available from the Information Desk and submit it along-with the application form.

Notice about KMC Peshawar Admissions 2012. Details of Khyber Medical College Merit Lists, Khyber Medical College Admissions Schedule and Admission forms available here.Admissions in Khyber Medical College starts in August 2012. The admission in KMC is organized by joint Admission system of Khyber Pakhtunkwa. Students who want to admission in MBBS and BDS programs of Khyber medical college have to apply for the combine admission procedure which is initiated to admit the students in all the Public sector medical colleges of KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkwa).

Khyber Medical College Merit List 2012

The merit list will be displayed after the conclusion of the admission procedure. The provisional merit list will be displayed on 20th September 2012. Students are advised to check this merit list for any error. Submission of Claims and objection regarding the provisional merit list must be reported on 21st September 2012 and 22nd September 2012. After that the final merit list will be available on 25th September 2012.

Merit Calculation

The final aggregate is prpared according to the following weightage

SSC or Equivalent qualification = 10%
Adjusted HSc. marks or equivalent level marks= 40%
Entrance Test Marks = 50%

EXAMPLE:
A candidate has obtained marks:

i. SSC or Equivalent qualification 650/850 or 76.5%

ii. Adjusted HSc. marks or equivalent level marks 870/1100 or 79.1%

iii. Entrance Test Marks 460/800 or 57.5 % His/ Her merit will be calculated as follows:
%age mark Weightage = Weightage

Factor Marks

(a) Weightage for SSC = 76.5 x 0.1 = 7.65

(b) Weight age for F.Sc = 79.1 x 0.4 = 31.64

Merit score of the candidate = a+b+c = 7.65+31.64+28.75 = 68.04

Final calculation in percentage will be rounded up to two decimal points.

There are approximately 280 seats in KMC for the MBBS program. These seats are further divided in open merit and reserved quota seats. The details about these distribution of seats will be mentioned in the combine prospectus 2012 of KPK Medical colleges admissions 2012.

3 fresh passport size photographs with blue background (with one attested photograph), bearing the name and father’s name on the back.
1 attested copy of the Computerized National Identity Card of the applicant/parent/guardian.
Original Migration Certificate/NOC is required from the student who has passed SSC /HSSC/Graduation Examination from a Board/University outside the territorial jurisdiction of Lahore Board/Punjab University.

GCU FA, FSc, ICom Admissions 2012 / GCU 1st, 2nd & 3rd Merit List 2012

GCU has started the Intermediate admissions 2012. Details about GCU Merit List 2012, GCU FA, FSC, ICom Admissions Form download and Admission schedule is given below. GCU Offers the admissions in the FA, FSc and ICom on the basis of Matriculation and O-Level. The last date to submit the admission form is 2nd August 2012. The whole admission schedule is as follows:

Admission Forms

Admission forms are available from 25-07-2012 to 02-08-2012 during banking hours from the following branches of the United Bank Limited:

(i) UBL, Tufail Road, Lahore Cantt (Near Mall of Lahore)
(ii) UBL, Riwaz Garden, Lahore
(iii) UBL, Wahdat Road, Lahore
(iv) UBL, The Mall, Lahore (Opposite Y.M.C.A)

• The last date for submission of application forms is 02-08-2012 (during banking hours)

• Admission form will be submitted in the same branch from where it has been obtained.

• Candidates applying for more than one category/ groups must submit a separate admission form for each category/ group.

Forman Christian College started admission 2012 in Intermediate programs of FA ICS and FSc . Merit Scholarship & Financial Assistance

Merit Scholarship and Financial Assistance is also being offered to the students on the Merit basis.

The following merit scholarships are available:

100% tuition fee waiver for Top position holders in the Matriculation exams in any board in Pakistan.
75% tuition fee waiver for students obtaining 85% marks in their Matriculation.

1. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis, ie the first students who qualify with the criteria above AND take roll numbers.

2. To continue to receive this scholarship, all beneficiaries must meet the following requirements throughout their period of study at FCC:

Minimum 75% attendance
85% average on monthly tests

3. There are 37 scholarships available. The breakdown is:

FSc: 30
FA: 7

The committee retains the power to adjust fewer in FSc and more in FA if they deem this is a more just distribution in a given year.

4. Students obtaining 75% fee waiver can also apply for need-based financial aid.
