UET Entry test is Multiple choice based question paper. It contains total 100 questions and each question carry 4 marks, that makes the UET Entry test of total marks 400. The distribution of the questions are as follow:
- English (10 questions)
- Physics (30 questions)
- Mathematics (30 questions)
- Chemistry or Computer Science or Statistics (30 questions)

This is totally wrong. Who says that a student with good English will get job easily, they are you skills that can get you job not English. Moreover in Engineering universities, Engineering subjects are being taught not English literature. So don’t consider such lame and false acquisitions.
sir on looking statics of ecat 2013 and 2012,@nyone can estimate that there will be no much increase in merit.asim hakim,an admin of a page have predicted a decrease in merit about 0.5 to 1.5%

Categories A [Open Merit Seats]
The applicant should be bonafide resident of the Punjab province. Applications are to be submitted to the University according to the procedure and requirements laid down in this prospectus. The selection and allocation of disciplines are made by the University according to merit. All students addmited under this catagery would receive 90% financial support from UET resources.
Categories AP [All Pakistan Open Merit Seats]
The candidates residing in any part of Pakistan (including Northern Areas) can apply on these categories.
