Gentleman
Please confirm me If my son Wants to appear in Entrance test on Computer Basis. is there any Center at Lahore?
If he passed computer Base test then Written test is also require. What is the last date of both test. We are overseas resident.
First of all if your son is a foreigner then you have to apply on the basis of SAT. If your son is a Pakistani national then you can apply on the basis of NUST Entrance test(NET). This year there are two sessions of NUST Entrance test i.e. NET 1 and NET 2. NET 1 registrations are opened now and will end on 5th April 2013. It is not compulsory to appear in both NET 1 and NET 2, but if you wish to improve NET 1 score then you can appear in NET 2. NET 1 is only computer based and will held only in Islamabad. In NET 2 there is a computer based test and written test also. In NET 2, Paper based entrance test will be conducted in Karachi and Quetta only once in July. For June-July session, candidates will have an option either to appear in Paper Based Test at Karachi and Quetta or Computer Based Test at Islamabad.
Computer based test and paper based test are equivalent and there is no such thing that after passing computer based test you have to appear in paper based test. There is no test center in Lahore in both sessions. For last dates for the registration of test and for more info kindly read the above given information and visit https://booknstuff.com/university/nust-university/nust-entry-test-2013-dates-and-registration
