Every year NUST offer admission in different programs on the basis of NUST Entry Test. The admissions 2012 in NUST also offered on the basis of NUST Entry Test 2012. Different entry test will be held for the admission in different programs. The Entry Tests are expected in the month of July 2012. The NUST entry test 2012 for admissions in different program will held according to the following schedule.

Computer Based NUST Entrance Test – Islamabad
| B Architecture | 7th July 2012(Morning & Evening) |
| Computer Science / BS Mathematics | 8th July 2012 (Morning & Evening) |
| Business Studies / Social Sciences | 9th– 10th July 2012 (Morning & Evening) |
| Engineering | 11th July – 21st July 2012 |
| MBBS/BDS/Applied Biosciences | 9th Sep 2012 – 28th Sep 2012 |
There will be two sessions on all test days as follows:-
- Morning: 0930-1230 hours
- Afternoon: 1430-1730 hours

Notice
NUST Entrance Test scheduled on 21 September 2012 has been rescheduled and will now be held on 26 September 2012. Timing will remain the same.

The Entrance test will be conducted at the following places:
- Computer Based Test
- Islamabad (Sector H-12, NUST Campus) (in multiple sessions)
- Paper Based Test
- Karachi, Quetta and Multan (in one session)
Candidates have an option to appear in either the computer based test at Islamabad or paper based test at Karachi, Quetta and Multan. In case of computer based test, candidates will be required to select the date and session of test after confirmation of deposit of application processing fee through email from NUST. They will be accommodated on the day and session of choice on first come first served basis.
