Sir, please tel me how to calculate the merit in above given table and also tell what percentage are required for admission in civil, electrical and mechanical engineering. I have secured 463 (89,19%)marks in FSc and 989 (94.20%)in Metric and get 129 marks in entry test 2013.So what chance i have for admission in NUST
The standard procedure followed by NUST administration for admission is of Merit positions. You will be allotted a merit position on the basis of your total aggregate. Hope for the best and pray for yourself, Insha Allah you will get in.
FSc 463(89.20%), Metric 989 (94.20%) and 129 marks in entry test 2013 aggregating to 71.14%. So what chance i have to admission in Civil, Electrical & Mechanical engineering as per merit list 2012. If possible please help-out to me for selecting the discipline accordingly and also tell me can apply in more than one discipline?
You can estimate it after getting merit number, merit number will be given to you in 2 or 3 days.

your aggregate is 71.17% and chances in civil, chemical, software. no chance in electrical or mech

The above given are merit numbers according to the aggregate of students.
For Engineering, aggregate formula is.. %age of (NET marks*0.75)+(A levels/FSc marks*0.15)+(O levels/Matric marks*0.10)
