The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has assigned National Testing Service (NTS) the responsibility to conduct GRE Type Test i.e. Graduate Assessment Test GAT-GENERAL for admissions in M.Phil and HEC Scholarship Schemes.
The test result will remain valid for “TWO YEAR” for admissions and HEC Scholarship Schemes.
Candidates with a minimum of sixteen years of education are eligible to appear in the test.
- Candidate intending to improve their previous GAT Score can also apply.
- The candidates will have to qualify other specified criteria of the Universities / HEC Schemes.

salam sir i want to know that in the next years gat exam will there be any change in the examination pattern of passing marks? kindly reply
next test will be held on next year…..??not in december even?
Until now there is no test date in November and December, maybe NTS will announce the test dates in November and December but it is not confirmed. Usually NTS do not take GAT test in November and December. Anyways if there will be change in the schedule we will update the schedule also, so keep visiting this page.

I didn’t get my roll no slip yet.. For GAT which is on 9 oct.
If you do not receive your Roll No. Slip till 8th October 2011 . Get a print of your information along with CNIC and contact NTS Help Desk at 09:00 AM on Sunday, 9th October 2011. You will be issued provisional Roll No. Slip at the test center.

Next date is 9th October but registration of this test is closed now, the next date for GAT Test will be available soon
