UET New Entry Test Date 2011 | UET Cancelled Entry Test (ECAT) New Date 2011

UET Entry test New Date:

New date for the UET Entry Test 2011 will be announced by the admission committee of UET. The new date of UET Entry test (ECAT) 2011 is expected as 11th September 2011. This date is officially announced but from some source of UET. This UET test date is for UET Lahore and UET Taxila also.

On the new date of uet entry test on 11th september test will be conducted on the basis of already submitted applications and allocated roll numbers.

The entry test which was conducted on 24th July 2011 was cancelled because the entry test question paper was leaked and VC ( Vice Chancellor) of UET Lahore declared that test as null and void. He immediately take action of the matter.

2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. The candidates who have already submitted their applications will appear in the test under previous Roll Numbers.
  2. They will report on Sunday 11th September 2011 by 8:30 A.M. at the same centre for Entry Test where they appeared in the last test dated 24th July 2011.
  3. There is no change in seating plan.
  4. The copies of Admit Cards are being delivered through mail. The candidates must bring this copy of Admit Card alongwith them.
  5. They must also carry an original identification document having a photograph, like CNIC or Domicile or Matric / 1st year Result Card or Driving License.
  6. The candidates who were absent on 24th July, 2011 may report in their respective centres with their original Admit Cards on the test date.
  7. Candidates who do not receive copy of Admit Card may visit the link for information on their Test Center and Roll Number.
  8. The result of Combined Entry Test shall be declared on 18th September 2011 (Midnight) and available at web link https://admission.uet.edu.pk. However, the key for self-marking shall be uploaded on the website on the midnight of the test date.
  9. Candidates are informed that possession of mobile phones, cameras, calculators and other electronic gadgetry is strictly prohibited during the test

NUST ENTRANCE TEST ENGG PROGRAMMES – 2011

In order to facilitate those candidates who are appearing in National Aptitude Test (NAT-2011) on 21 August 2011, authorities at NUST have decided to reschedule their undergraduate NUST Entrance Test of Engineering programmes from 21 August 2011 (Sunday) to 20 August 2011 (Saturday).

All those candidates who appeared in NUST Entrance Test – 2011 on 17 July 2011 (Sunday) are directed to present / report themselves at their previous designated / allotted examination venues / centres at 0800 hrs on 20 Aug 2011(Saturday) for re-appearing in the test accordingly. Candidates are requested to download new admit cards by login at NUST.

All questions for Entrance Test 2011 shall be constructed from the topics listed in the “Syllabus for Entrance Test 2011” focusing the “learning outcomes” listed under each topic.

The books that were recommended for study were done so because the “learning outcomes” and the topics were found in them and many more. Education and knowledge can not be confined to any set of books/notes but has to be specified through topics and learning outcomes.

It is wrong to perceive that F.Sc. Students have to read non F.Sc. books or vice versa to be successful in the Entrance Test 2011.
In fact, all questions shall be constructed keeping in mind cross-validity between the two streams of Education and wholly from the Syllabus alone. Neither the F.Sc. students, nor the Non F.Sc. students have to study anything different or extra than their routine two years of formal education. Attending Academies may in fact prove detrimental to their outcome since the Test shall focus on their routine studies only.

Medical Entry Test 2011 of Punjab | MCAT Entry Test 2011 of Punjab

UHS (University of Health Sciences) announced the schedule of Entrance Test 2011 for admission in MBBS and BDS in Government Medical and Dental Institutions of the Punjab for Session 2011-12. UHS is the active body which conduct the medical entry test for admissions in MBBS and BDS of punjab province. The official notice of UHS for medical entry test 2011 is as follows:

and MBBS/BDS Admissions 2011-12

The process of Admission in Government Medical and Dental Institutions of the Punjab for Session 2011-12, shall start in August 2011. Prospective applicants are advised to ensure the availability of following documents:

  1. Domicile Certificate with recent photograph.
  2. Computerized National Identity Card or Computerized B-Form issued by NADRA.
  3. Certificates of all the examinations passed on the basis of which admission is sought (such as Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate or Equivalent).
  4. Detailed Marks Certificates of SSC and HSSC (Pre-Medical Group).
  5. Eight (08) recent passport size coloured photographs.
  6. Applicant having equivalent foreign qualifications (O and A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) must obtain Equivalence Certificate from IBCC.
  7. Those claiming to be Muslim Hafiz-e-Quran, shall have to produce a Certificate in this regard from a registered Madrassa.

The above documents shall be required at the time of submission of application form for the Entrance Test.

IMPORTANT

  1. The syllabus of Entrance Test 2011 has been available on UHS website www.uhs.edu.pk since September 2010. The candidates are advised to prepare for the Entrance Test according to this syllabus.
  2. The candidates should prepare for the Entrance Test from their respective textbooks, that is, F.Sc. candidates need not study Non-F.Sc. textbooks and Non-F.Sc. candidates need not study F.Sc. textbooks.
  3. The candidates are advised to refrain from taking preparatory courses offered by commercial academies.

Medical Entry Test 2011 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa | Khyber Medical University Entry Test 2011

Khyber Medical university announce the Entrance Test 2011 for admissions in all Public and Private Medical and Dental institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khyber Medical University, Peshawar invites applications for the Entrance Test for admission in all Public and Private Sector Medical/Dental colleges/Institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the session 2011-12. The Entrance Test will be conducted by the Educational Testing & Evaluation Authority (ETEA) Govt. of Khyber Pakthunkhwa, on Sunday, July 24th 2011 at 09:00AM.

Result is Announced

A.   SCHEDULE:

  1. Entrance Test application forms will be available from 5th July, 2011.
  2. Application forms submission date: 7-17th July, 2011.
  3. Entrance test (at both centers): 24 July 2011 at 09:00A.M
  4. Entrance Test Result : 25th July 2011

B.   ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ENTRY TEST

  1. A candidate who has passed F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or Equivalent Examination with a minimum of 60% unadjusted marks.
  2. A candidate who has appeared in F.Sc(Pre-Medical) Part-II or Equivalent Examination and is awaiting the result should provide a certificate from the Head of his/her institution that he/she is expected to get 60% marks.
  3. Students already admitted in MBBS or BDS on provincial seats, are eligible to reappear in the Entry Test if they have resigned/withdrawn their admission and paid the prescribed penalty (Rs. 50,000/- for open merit/provincial quota seats and Rs. 2,00,000/- for general self finance) before appearing in entry test provided:
    • The candidate will have to submit a certificate along with entrance test form, issued by the Principal of the college, to the effect that he/she has paid all the previous dues including the penalty.
    • He/she has not been expelled/debarred from the college under any provision of the Prospectus.

C.   CENTERS FOR TEST

For candidates who register themselves and receive entry test card from KMU Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar.

  1. Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad:For candidates who register themselves and receive Entrance Test Card from Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad.
    Selection of the center will be at the choice of the candidate, however, once selected the center shall not be changed.
