NUST Entry Test Sample Papers, Computer Based/Paper Based

Every year NUST offers admissions to the Undergraduate students of Pakistan in different Bachelor Programs on the basis of NUST Entry Test (NET). NUST Entry Test are taken in two following types:

  • Computer based NUST Entry Test
  • Paper based NUST Entry Test

Here we are providing students with the sample papers of Computer Based NUST Entry Test and Paper Based NUST Entry Test. In Computer based test the candidate perform the test electronically on computer while in paper based test the candidate perform the test in conventional written form. Candidates will have an option to appear either in computer based test at Islamabad OR the paper based test at Karachi, Quetta and Multan.

NUST Entry test of all bachelor disciplines except Bachelor of Architecture composed of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There are total of 200 MCQs in NUST Entry Test. The standard of NUST Entry test is that of intermediate level education, aimed at evaluation of factual knowledge, comprehension and its application. General Awareness portion covering Pakistan Studies, International Affairs and General Knowledge having 5% weighting has been replaced now by Intelligence type questions in NET.

The weightage of subjects in NUST Entrance Test for preparation of merit list is as under:

Note:
  • Candidates seeking admission in Engineering can also opt for admission in BS Mathematics programme without additional registration fee. Such candidates are not required to take a separate test and their merit position for BS Mathematics will be calculated on the basis of their score in Mathematics, English and Intelligence.

Sir,i want to ask that if i score above 850 in fsc and 450 in nust test can i get admission in electrical or aeronautical engineering.
Secondly i want to ask that for nust test from where should i prepare english and general knowledge part.for maths should i prepare sat book or do my fsc books jus.

    According to the rules of last year, there was no negative marking in the test.
    First of all prepare FSc book completely and then go further.

    Not necessary, but do read if you have time and resource. For English you have to prepare more than FSc.

        Means if you want to perform outstanding in the English portion of entry test, your English level should be good and for that purpose FSc English book is not enough. Read the above give sample paper, you will get pretty much idea about what we are trying to say.
