Every Year GIKI offer Admissions to the students in different BS programs. These admission are offers on the basis of GIKI Entry Test. GIKI organizes its own admission test and conduct the applicant according to the Entry test. The enclosed set of questions in GIKI Entry test sample paper is meant to give an idea of the level of the Admission Test. The Admission Test comprises questions based on the Pakistani Intermediate level Physics and Mathematics in Part A and question on English comprehension in Part B.

Fee and Expenses
The Institute is a non-profit organization and provides subsidized education. The annual tuition fee (non-refundable), subject to revision from time to time, is as under for the 4 years for local residents and sons/daughters of expatriate Pakistanis.

* Applicants also have the option to pay in two installments, however, Rs. 20,000/- additional administrative charges (Rs. 10,000/- with each intallment) become payable as well. First installment is due on or before July 28, 2012 AND second is payable before November 30, 2012.
The annual tuition fee US $ 7500 (non-refundable) per annumwill be charged from the foreigner students.
The tuition fee is payable before the commencement of the Fall semester each year. A non-refundable admission fee of Rs. 28,000/- for Pakistani or US $ 650 for foreign applicants is also required to be deposited along with the annual tuition fee. Rs. 23,000 will be charged as security, refundable at the time of leaving the Institute, subject to the clearance from relevant departments. The messing charges, to be paid every month, are based on the actual expenditure, which is approximately Rs. 6000 to 6500.
The fee charged per course offered during the summer semester is notified with announcement of the summer semester. The final year students are charged convocation fee of Rs. 10,000/-.
Financial Aid and Scholarships are also available for deserving students.

Continuation of scholarships is dependent on satisfactory academic performance of the concerned student and the policies of the donor agencies.
Financial Aid/ Loan
To provide opportunity for educational advancement to academically bright but financially needy students, the Institute provides financial assistance in form of interest-free loans subject to nominal administrative charges. It is available to a limited number of students on need-cum-merit basis as determined by the Institute. The assistance may be for a period of one to four years of studies. Applicants seeking such assistance may apply on the prescribed form, which can be obtained with prospectus against an additional payment of Rs. 600/.

Those who apply for financial assistance will be informed at the time of admission whether or not their request has been acceded to. An applicant who has secured admission on basis of merit but whose request for financial assistance is not approved would be admitted on payment of full tuition fee.

Every year NUST offer admission in different programs on the basis of NUST Entry Test. The admissions 2012 in NUST also offered on the basis of NUST Entry Test 2012. Different entry test will be held for the admission in different programs. The Entry Tests are expected in the month of July 2012. The NUST entry test 2012 for admissions in different program will held according to the following schedule.

Every year NUST (National University of Science and Technology) offer admissions in Undergraduate Programs The Admissions 2012 in NUST will start in the end of March 2012. The admission procedure for NUST is online so online registration for NUST admissions 2012 will start from 15th April 2012.

All of those candidates of Engineering / BS Math who have deposited admission processing fee but for any reason have not been able to download Admit Cards should contact Admissions Director latest by 3:00 pm on 18 July 2012 for inclusion of their names for last session of entry test on 19 July 2012.
“For admission in UG programmes, prospective candidates must be in possession of either Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Form’ B’ without which the application for registration will not be accepted.”

Rechecking of NET Papers
Rechecking of Entrance Test papers (only MCQs) may be requested in writing within 15 days of the declaration of result, along with a fee of Rs 500/- in the form of a bank draft/pay order in favour of NUST.
Provision of Entrance Test Results
Desirous candidates may obtain the result of their test, on written request, along with a fee of Rs 200/- per copy in the form of a bank draft/pay order in favour of NUST.
